I hope everyone has been having a wonderful Christmas season and that 2024 has been treating them well.
For some reason, I enjoy looking at the lists of books people have read in a given year. I’m not really sure why I enjoy that, but I do. Maybe it’s because it gives me a peak into their lives and I get to see the diversity of topics people are interested in. Maybe it’s because I get the chance to vicariously connect with someone over a shared book.
Who knows?
Anyway, here is the list of books I finished in 2023 in roughly the order I read them. I started a bunch of other books, but I have not finished them yet. Maybe they will appear in the next year’s book list.
I also read a number of Gene Wolfe short stories found in a couple of his collections.
