Arron, This is just some free advice about your use of Substack. I sent your Nican Mopohua page to my son's family in Kansas and my daughter in law couldn’t open it without a paid subscription. In fact in their case with their large family they can’t afford it. Unless you are getting a stream of paid subscriptions, I recommend you rethink your paywall plan. Most big Substackers came with a following. I have a paywall on my novel, only because to sell on Amazon and other storefronts, you must agree not to give away what you are selling through them. My Spiritual Thing site is free. I think your Nican would spread among young Tradie families, but most do not have the budget for a subscription. I'd advise you to develop something like a salon for paid subscribers. Your podcasts are free, so why pay for them? You might consider reposting Nican for free subscriptions and allow comments. Well, advice is free. JBSP

Thank you! I debated this quite a bit before deciding that I wanted to have some things behind a paywall to attract paid subscribers or Patreon supporters. Since I have a few paid supporters, I wanted to provide something for their (and your) money. My goal is to have most of my content free and have a few extra things for those who want to support the show with a monthly subscription. I can certainly provide the mp3 of the poem to you via email to distribute to whomever you want!

Okay. Please send me the mp3 and I'll give it a limited distribution.
